liuzhou Posted January 8, 2006 at 03:04 AM Report Posted January 8, 2006 at 03:04 AM It has just been launched. No availability details are given. Cost between 600元 and 800元. Quote
HashiriKata Posted January 8, 2006 at 10:20 AM Report Posted January 8, 2006 at 10:20 AM I'm afraid life can't be this simple and digital camera manufacturers are not going to go out of business (Of course, I don't doubt that conversion is possible. Image quality and compromises would be the key issues here.) PS: Digital backs have been available to medium-format cameras for quite some time now but they are both expensive and restrictive, so they aren't really "a cheap way out". Quote
mr.stinky Posted January 8, 2006 at 01:25 PM Report Posted January 8, 2006 at 01:25 PM looks like a version of this has been around for about 5 years. i found references to the siliconfilm efs-1. they had problems finding investors, problems getting the cassette to work with more than a small number of cameras....original price was to be $600-800. http://www.dcviews.com/_siliconfilm/1.htm http://www.dpreview.com/news/0001/00010604siliconfilm.asp Quote
