Kristy Posted January 20, 2006 at 07:06 PM Report Posted January 20, 2006 at 07:06 PM I've just started text book 2. I started learning Chinese properly last September (at uni, I'm a first year). I'm lucky because our teacher is fantastic. I love the New Practical Chinese Reader. Textbook 1 was incredibly user friendly, we're just on lesson 16 now (book 2). I'd recommend these books to anyone. You're right, Mandarin is such a beautiful language. I'm loving my course. What's your course like? Quote

I'm using Practical chinese reader at the mo - how's it going for you? I've been doing chinese for 11months now. would you do me a favour and ask your teachers if they know of any places or people in Rotherham or Sheffield that teach chinese?
