climacus Posted January 12, 2006 at 07:06 AM Report Posted January 12, 2006 at 07:06 AM I'm wondering if anyone has recently come to Guangzhou on an L Visa and switched to a Z Visa. Would I have to go to HK? I read on the SF Consulate site that I could have someone go in for me to deliver the application, so I'm thinking even if they don't let me do it in GZ, I could mail my passport and Z visa docs back to an agent in the US to do the visa processing for me. Would this work? BTW, I'm not working for a school, just for a Chinese company over which I have some control that's never hired a foreigner before. So I'm not worried about them blackmailing me, etc. Quote
