我不知道怎么表达这个句话。。。

We have learned about 毛泽东 and his political viewpoints.

我可不可以用"关于"？

Sentences like these... "To learn about", "To read about", "The book is about", would you use 关于？

表达 means express, but just as you can only use express for abstract ideas and things like "express myself", "express my gratitude", you can't "express a sentence", so what you are probably saying is "I don't know how to put this in words." BUT since you have already put the following in words (in English) you only need to translate it to Chinese.

Also, "这个句话" is wrong, you can say "这个句子", 个is the counter word and 句子 is "sentence", or "这句话", 句 is the counter word and 话 is "saying".

Therefore, we have

"这句话华语怎么说？" How do you say this in Chinese/Mandarin? or

"这个句子翻译成华文是什么？" What do you have when you translate this sentence to Chinese?"

Hmmm, i don't think you can, well you can but it wouldn't sound natural...关于 is more of "regarding" than "about". Sometimes direct translation wouldn't work, as in this case, just ignore the "about".

我们学到了毛泽东和他的政治观点。We have learnt (about) Mao Zedong and his political viewpoints.

i prefer “我们有学到毛泽东和他的政治观点." sounds more natural.

Well its similiar for "to read about".

我们读到了毛泽东和他的政治观点。

well another possible sentence with "regarding" is

我们有读到关于毛泽东的政治观点。 ok, sounds natural

We have read about Mao Zedong regarding his political viewpoint.

This book is about politics.

这本书是有关政治的。 This book is regarding politics.

这本书是在讲政治的。This book is saying (about) politics.

This book as about Jack's life.

这本书是有关捷克的一生。This book regarding Jack's life.

这本书是讲捷克的一生。 This book is saying (about) Jack's life.
