gougou Posted January 19, 2006 at 01:13 AM Report Posted January 19, 2006 at 01:13 AM I would like to take a test of Chinese as a foreign language, as I am trying to compensate something for school. The problem is I need it until the beginning of June, so the HSK is not an option (I take it it is only offered in May and will need two months to deliver the diploma?) Does anybody know of any other, somewhat reputed certificate that I would be able to get until June (in Beijing)? Quote
roddy Posted January 19, 2006 at 03:05 AM Report Posted January 19, 2006 at 03:05 AM There's a test for ethnic minority students - the 少数民族汉语水平考试 - which might have a better schedule for you, although obviously you're going to have to deal with the fact that you aren't an ethnic minority. I can't think of any other 'official' tests that would be acceptable. Maybe you could get to take an entrance examination at one of the major universities and get a stamped statement of ability from that? Roddy Quote
