simbi Posted January 23, 2006 at 03:02 PM Report Posted January 23, 2006 at 03:02 PM Hi, Does anyone know anything about the 3 month acupuncture courses at Shanghai University of TCM, i.e. if they're good or not. Do you know of any others in China which teach in English? Thanks Quote
quanxie Posted January 28, 2006 at 01:25 AM Report Posted January 28, 2006 at 01:25 AM I visited the school and hospital but, only briefly, typical of the ones that I have worked at or visited here. Most of the major TCM universities here will take short term students, as long as you have the dough to pay.. They usually let you observe several doctors and have a student accompany you to interpret, the student usually does any classroom lesson also... I personally feel that the hospitals affiliated with the schools mostly use western style therapys and diagnosis methods...exceptions to every rule... The top six schools (not in order) Beijing Nanjing Tianjin Shanghai Chengdu Guangzhuo You can google for there webistes Good luck, Phil Quote
