Can anyone PLEASE help me. I still don't understand the use of the word 把。 Can anyone explain it in very basic terms? Any help greatly received. :)

Try reading this first, then asking a more specific question. Asking someone to explain 把 is like asking for an explanation of 'of' or 'to' in English - there are so many different usages you need to narrow it down.
