anyone studying in Taipei..whats the nightlife like?

Heading there next year to study with ICLP, just wondering what the nightlife is like over there for someone who is a white 23(by that time) year old male. Are clubs expensive? What can I expect to pay, can you make Taiwanese friends real easily that are more than happy to pay for the bill everytime like you can on the mainland. I've heard that Taiwanese girls are real skanky though, that can be good or bad I guess.

thanks, well I had heard that from two American friends of mine who had studied in Harbin and then went to Taiwain, I guess that is a big jump in culture, so for them maybe they thought so. But I have never been there, so I really have no idea.
