This seems to be the "General Purpose" area of these forums so hopefully my post isn't too off topic.

I'm looking for an authentic Peking Opera experience. Along with that I'd like to do some photography of the performers. Close up portrait type of stuff.

I know this is kind of a long shot, but, does anyone have any advice on venues in Beijing that would be open to me crowding the stage and getting off some shots (non-flash)? Thanks for any tips.
