elina Posted February 15, 2006 at 07:14 AM Report Posted February 15, 2006 at 07:14 AM From what I know, I think 万网 is the most reliable in China, although it’s expensive: http://www.net.cn/static/hosting/ We will redesign our website, and will use this one: http://www.xintu.net/ Quote
trevelyan Posted February 15, 2006 at 07:59 AM Report Posted February 15, 2006 at 07:59 AM If you want a recommendation, Adsotrans and NewsinChinese are hosted with these guys and I've never had any major problems with them. Their predecessors, in contrast, did things like overnight stealth moves. Dedicated budget servers go for around 800 RMB/month. That should get you unmetered bandwidth on a shared line, and you can expect to own the hardware after a year or two depending on your contract. There are a lot of smaller network companies. If you use one of them, you can save some money by arranging for a budget package and then negotiating your way to a better server by agreeing to pay up-front for the actual difference in the costs of the various components. Its more expensive up front, but better over the long run if you stick with the company. The high end is getting an IDC. Not sure the Chinese market is much different than anywhere else here. Quote
