Ian_Lee Posted January 24, 2004 at 12:15 AM Report Posted January 24, 2004 at 12:15 AM There used to be many ROC flags during special days on display (i.e. Oct 10) in Hong Kong before 1997. But now they have completely vanished --- except in one spot. That is Hong Lau (Red Mansion) in Tuen Mun. It is the residence of Sun Yat Sen during the revolutionary years. Now everyday there are still ROC flags hoisted in the park and on Oct 10 each year hundreds of people pay tribute there with dozens of ROC flags flying around. See picture: http://www.ypmap.com/en/TouristMap/vtours/tuenmun/main_tuenmun_2.html (Now it is much easier to get there after the West Railway has been completed.) Quote
