高陽 -- another famous army writer from Taiwan who had written numerous historical novels.

In Mainland, he had been immensely popular. it was said that 有井水處有金庸，有村鎮處有高陽. (Wherever there is well water, there must be books written by Jin Yong that somebody is reading. Wherever there is a village, that must be books written by Gao Yang that someone is reading.)

I love to read history. But somehow the novels of 高陽 are not my cup of tea. I bought dozen of his novels. Somehow I never finished one.
