mtaplits Posted March 2, 2006 at 03:41 AM Report Posted March 2, 2006 at 03:41 AM Thanks for a great forum.. I'm a software programmer and am looking to learn everyday vocab for the profession. I speak Mandarin conversationally but I have no computer vocab. I want to be able to basically offer telephone tech support "look for this, click that.. what does it say, take a trace of x log file etc etc". Can anyone point me to some resources? Thanks! -- Marshall Quote

amandagmu Posted March 3, 2006 at 05:16 AM Report Posted March 3, 2006 at 05:16 AM You're in luck. Chinesepod just covered this topic recently, buying a computer: http://www.chinesepod.com/podcast/2006/02/16/%e4%b8%ad%e7%ba%a727-buying-a-computer/ In particular, read the comments section. Someone posted a lot of additional useful vocab! Quote
