Finding a school for nursery children

I am hoping to take my two young children along with me when I go and teach in China (either in Shanghai/Xiamen/Hangzhao). What are the schools/ nurseries like for children aged under 3? How much do they cost? Or is it cheaper to hire a nanny? Also, what are the average monthly cost for renting a two bedroom apartment?

In Beijing, the cost of nurseries is different from RMB 450.00 yuan to more than RMB 3000.00 yuan per month. The average cost is RMB 1000.00 yuan. To hire a nanny, it can spend RMB 600.00 yuan to RMB 1000.00 yuan.

I do not know the situation in Shanghai/Xiamen/Hangzhao.

Regarding hiring a nanny, it can spend RMB 600.00 yuan for the first month as probation, and then RMB 800.00 yuan from the second month (8 hours per day, 5 working days a week with National Holidays). It’s easy to just find a person as the nanny, but not easy to find one, who is reliable, patient and really likes children. If you are lucky to find such a person, do not hesitate to give her some bonus to make her stay longer. Because frequently changing nanny is no good to your children and your family. You’d better keep a copy of her ID card, and even best to visit her family beforehand. What I said is based on the price in Beijing, I agree:
