What's the best beginner's Text?

as far as i know the book itself is made by National Taiwan Normal University, so maybe it's worth contacting them to find out how to get it. www.ntnu.edu.tw must have an e-mail somewhere.

Hey Lau, I know zero Chinese. Can you or someone else find an email address on that site for me? I've changed my mind, and decided that I would prefer to get the vcds instead of video cassettes, but can't find where to order them.

that seems to be the adress of the mandarin training center. they do not sell books/VCDs themselves, but they might know where to get them, cause, hey, they made it! they filmed it on the campus.
