the most Chinese song 晴雯歌----one of teleplay 红楼梦

The tune was written by the people in our time, but the lyric was written by 曹雪芹 which lived at Qing dynasty. And the tune writter has read the magnum opus（红楼梦） times and times, even when he's dream he could see the person who were display in the magnum opus. Then he put all of his mind to mke such these music for the magnum opus. All the songs are very wonderful, but this is the most one I like, and I'd like share with you.

If you don't understand the lyric, you might think it's a joyous song, but I'd tell you it's really a sad song at all. Try to listen it by your heart, had better find the magnum opus and read it----you'll find there's so much more wonderful thing in reading----but just in Chinese.

Explication

霁月难逢彩云易散

jì yuè nán fénɡ cǎi yún ww sàn

霁，雨后新晴，雪住风停， it made of 雨 and 齐，so it have sth to do with the rain----means rain or snow stops, the day clears up；月，the moon；霁月：after rain stop, the moon display in the sky, that will be more beautiful than ordinary；难，hardly, at here means low probablity；逢，to meet, to see；彩云，color cloud；易，easy，easily；散，disperse. The sentence translate as: The beautful moon is hardly to meet, and the beautful color could is easly to disperse. So it means that the good thing would not keep on so long as people want.

心比天高身为下贱

xīn bǐ tiān ɡāo shēn wéi xià jiàn

心，心性，not just heart，at here it's means what inculding clevr, temperament, ideal, cognition etc；比，than；天，the sky；高，high；身，not the body, it means herself，her fortune and weather；为，as，to be；下，low status，贱，a femme de chambre is a humble people(not a work) in Chinese tradition culture，whatever how much you can get from your master，whatever how rarity things you have and use, if you were a femme de chambre then you're a humble people. The sentence translate as:(Her)心(because I couldn't find a word to take place of this, so I use the Chinese) higher than the sky, but she was a humble people. So it means that the fortune often let the human being in a embarrassed phase, world's turn don't like human want.

风流灵巧招人怨

fēnɡ liú línɡ qiǎo zhāo rén yuàn

风流，dissolute，but at here means beautful and clever，with knowing culture；灵巧，finesse，more mean clever；招，get a envy rise out of somebody；人，at here means the others who were femme de chambre too；怨，enmity. The sentence translate as:晴雯was so clever and finesse that the others envy her. So it means that 晴雯 had no friend no helper, no communicate in heart, so she was alone----not just alone at the outside, more inside, in her heart. This sentence deal with the last sentence “心比天高”。There're some Chinese saying: 曲高和寡qǔ ɡāo hè ɡuǎ(The tune is so high that just a few people can sing it)，高处不胜寒ɡāo chǔ bú shènɡ hán(The place more high it'll be more cold) same like here.

寿夭多因诽谤生

shòu yāo duō yīn fěi bànɡ shēnɡ

寿，a long life time，at here means just life time；夭，die young，in Chinese there're too many words same like death，but they would not like the same at all. for example，薨hōnɡ，means the emperor or his mother or his in due form wife die，some king can use this word too，but not any minister----even he got the really power. 毙bì，ordinary people die with a bad reason，such like be drown, be killed by the govment，and the treacherous court minister die can use 毙 too. Back to here，寿夭means people die when who was very young；多因，mostly cause；诽谤，libel，slander；生，happen，disseminate. So it means that she had been die young mostly cause of the libel of her.

多情公子空牵念

duō qínɡ ɡōnɡ zǐ kōnɡ qiān niàn

多情，easily fall in love；公子，the childe，in the magnum opus means 贾宝玉jiǎ bǎo yù，he's the son of the minister 贾政jiǎ zhènɡ；空，in vain. 空is a special word in Chinese, it inculding too much more wonderful mean inside, even many more Chinese can't know this word well, try to find it out and you'll find more fun and happy with reading and knowledge in Chinese；牵念，care，but I think "care" isn't so fit for explaining 牵念.as you know，牵念 is miss from heart，but not the love，that's all. So it means that whatever 宝玉 miss 晴雯 there's no use. So it means that a childe couldn't stand with a femme de chambre in same high, so whatever he do, that's no use----childe be the childe, femme de chambre be the femme de chambre.

I like the way 晴雯 treats 寶玉 like equal rather than a master. I like the way 寶玉 allows her to tear up him fan.

Of the 12 poems on the ladies in the book I like 終身誤 and 枉凝眉 best. I wrote this post a long time ago.
