Southernly school in Beijing

Is there a private school or public/private college in the south part of Beijing to study Chinese, i.e. south of Beijing Zhan? I will be teaching in Daxing county and am trying to find as close a place as possible.

There's a couple at (well, very near) Beijing Station - the Bridge School and Juncheng are two, you can find more info by searching on here.

Thanks! I have tried to search but almost all of what I find is in Haidian or chaoyang...and then er wai.

I remember hearing once of a university down near very south 3rd or 4th ring road but I can't remember the name of it.

I lived for several months near Yizhuang, in the BDA, which is near the northernmost part of Daxing county, and between the 5th and 6th ring roads. I couldn't even find a tutor, let alone a language school!

If I were in your position I would look into hiring one of the Chinese teachers at the school for some private tuition. The commute to central Beijing from Daxing County is far too time-consuming and expensive to be worthwhile on a daily basis.

i am at beijing university of technology (beigongda) which, tho i am new to bj, i think is in the south. maybe this is the place u were thinking of?
