Pengyou Posted March 29, 2006 at 02:39 AM Report Posted March 29, 2006 at 02:39 AM I ran across a website for studying Chinese in Beijing at Beijing University of Technology. Does anyone have any experience with this uni? I have studied Chinese for more than 2 years but am limited to mostly oral Chinese. My reason for wanting to attend a public Chinese uni is to improve my reading and writing. I thought BJ Tech was in the south east corner of Chao Yang Qu so am hoping to escape the mob of foreigners that I have seen in Haidian. I do not mind if the methods are not very western. The school that I attended in Tianjin used more intuitive methods to teach Chinese, but I found that I always had to know the grammar rules to understand. Also, if anyone has attended this school, can you tell me which books they use for the first and second level? Thanks in advance Quote
