How do you pronounce this? I can't find this word in any of my dictionaries. 耤

What does it mean?

Thanks!

According to this page, jí or jiè. However, Wenlin says ji1, meaning a sacred imperial field.

Baidu 1: Google 0

source, there are quite a lot of results on baidu.com (compared to Google at least)

PS And I expect to see photos when you've finished building it

Wow. Thanks!

So it is a Ji (or Jie) Che! ie. Plough Cart.

Interesting. This term comes the 守法守令十三篇, a Han era manual on siege warfare and it apparently came in two different sizes, high and small, placed at intervals of 200bu to 50bu on top of defensive walls and had a range of 50bu and crewed by 5 men and 3 men respectively.

Ok, time to update my writings. Thanks again.
