Some melodies in older Chinese tunes sound very very like Gaelic melodies for the flute or similar wind instruments....The scales...the feel, the tune. For example, check out 其實你不懂我的心 by 童安格. Its spooky. You know the 6,000 yr old desicated mummy found in the Xinjiang mountains had Celtic origins and was wearing a Kilt ??? Maybe there are musical and other cultural links in the deep past too... If I could attach a .mp3 file to this I would. Take care all... Quote
