Dissecting Chinese characters

Can anyone recommend any software that allows you to break down a Chinese character into its components, and explain the meaning of each component and doesn't cost a bundle? :help I like the etymology section on Yellowbridge's site (link below) and have read the praise for Wenlin on this site, but I consider it a bit on the expensive side.

Related to this, have you by any chance installed Hanzim on a computer running WindowsXP Home Edition, and did it work well? This freeware program can be found at:

Thanks in advance!

Yes, I've checked out that site, but I find Yellowbridge a bit easier to use. From the links and references on Yellowbridge, though, it seems like the two sites are linked.

The reason why I wuold be interested using some software for this is that using websites can be a bit slow at times, that's all.
