Shadowdh Posted April 10, 2006 at 06:55 AM Author Report Posted April 10, 2006 at 06:55 AM Hi Anonymoose... not really as I can find my way to those sections but wanted to download them in one painless motion perhaps using the RSS thingy rather than clicking each one... looks like that might be the only option for me... I should have been more clear in the explanation of what I am trying to do, sorry... cheers for the help mate... Quote
stephanhodges Posted April 10, 2006 at 02:13 PM Report Posted April 10, 2006 at 02:13 PM I use Juice (they have a link on the website), and it will get all of the podcasts automatically, including past ones. I don't know if they still list all of the podcasts in the rss feed or not. I'm pretty sure I have them all Last time I checked you had to use the "all in one" link to get them all, however. They were incorrectly naming all feeds the same, so that you couldn't select "beginner" and "intermediate" for example and get separated downloads. Because they were the same name (defined in the rss xml), they would always go to the same directory. I reported this a couple months ago, so maybe they fixed it. Quote
Shadowdh Posted April 10, 2006 at 03:14 PM Author Report Posted April 10, 2006 at 03:14 PM Thanks for the info Stephan... I tried Juice but it only got the last 10-15 or so and then I couldnt figure out how to get the rest... I might try again and see if I cant make it work... Cheers mate... Quote
stephanhodges Posted April 10, 2006 at 08:52 PM Report Posted April 10, 2006 at 08:52 PM Hmm... Check the RSS feed XML source, to see if all the download names are still in there. Perhaps they've changed. In that case, the categorized feeds might still have all the lessons... (beginner, etc) Quote
Josh-J Posted April 10, 2006 at 09:21 PM Report Posted April 10, 2006 at 09:21 PM I believe the feeds available through the archive section contain the past episodes. I downloaded all of the newbie ones through a feed in that section. http://www.chinesepod.com/feed.php Quote
