What's with the 'mmm' in non-Mando Chinese lang/dialects?

I think one of the most common words shared by plenty of Chinese languages and dialects is the 'mmm () ' for 不 . That's really interesting, do you think it prob indicates some remnant from ancient Hanyu or ancient Yue dialect?

I know Canto uses it, Hokkien does, and not sure with Hakka. Are there any other Chinese dialects that use the 'mmm' 唔?
