roddy Posted April 14, 2006 at 02:17 AM Report Posted April 14, 2006 at 02:17 AM Anyone had any experience with The Language Center, in Huaqing Jiayuan in Wudaokou? I know nothing about them, but they have flyers in a couple of the cafes I visit and a complimentary quote from Martin Symonds, who wrote the much-acclaimed and hard-to-buy textbook Chinese Made Easier, which piqued my interest. Website. No mention is made of prices, except that they rent out private study rooms at 30Y/hour if you are finding Sculpting in Time too noisy. No mention of jugs of iced tea and black pepper chicken sandwiches though . . . Anyone been there? Quote
stephanhodges Posted April 14, 2006 at 12:41 PM Report Posted April 14, 2006 at 12:41 PM That link didn't work for me until I dropped the "index.htm" at the end. Quote
mlomker Posted April 14, 2006 at 04:56 PM Report Posted April 14, 2006 at 04:56 PM The site is well done and the format of their program (3 hours per day) sounds sensible to me. They do have some prices listed. Quote
