In relation to BLCU where is MuXiDi

Its a subway station 3 stops from XIDAN and on line one... I will try to find it myself but would appreciate any help... cheers...

Do your 10 (or is it!) minute walk to the BLCU light rail station. South to Xizhimen. Change to Line 2. South to Fuxingmen. Change to Line 1. West 1 or 2 stops (maybe 3?) to Muxidi. You're there.

Probably doable as a commute, but changing twice? Potentially at rush hour (you sometimes have to queue to get into the station at Xizhimen at rush hour)? Wouldn't be my first choice.

Right, thanks Roddy... I found a map that had the station on it but it wasnt clear re the journey and distance and relation to where (I thought) BLCU was... thanks for the heads up...

Financial street is more or less the west second ring between Fuxingmen and Fuchengmen. You're not a great deal closer than Muxidi, but you've saved yourself one subway change.

I understand you're looking for a room/apartment? Best try to find something in either Dongwangzhuang (10-15 min. walk to Beiyu) or Huaqing Jiayuan (10-15 min. bike ride to Beiyu).
