mkengel Posted April 23, 2006 at 08:38 PM Report Posted April 23, 2006 at 08:38 PM Hello. I am one of the team leaders of the Chinese-German dictionary HanDeDict @ http://chdw.de We have just created a new service which we call printable voabulary cards (flash cards). We have begun this series with Flash Cards for HSK, level A,B,C,D For each level we distinguish several sets for simplified characters, traditional characters and simplified and traditional characters. In each of these sets, we have created three sub-sets Front: Chinese, back: Pinyin+German Front: Chinese+Pinyin, back: German Front: Chinese, back: Pinyin Unfortunately, our software can only output cards where we have a translation in German. But we keep a list of missing words so you would know which words are missing. From this list, people can easily help with translation. Usually, our flash cards are updated once a week. So, if you print out flash cards, don't forget to also print out the missing words. If you don't want to reprint the whole set of cards, search for the missing words later (hopefully they are meanwhile added), add them to your personal vocabulary file and save it as vocabulary cards - for personal voabulary cards service you need to be a registered user (free). By the way, you are not allowed to offer this files from your websites and you are not allowed to edit the pdf files. But, you are allowed to send the files to anyone you like. Think of this restriction as our only recompense for this work. Please feel free to link to HanDeDict. mkengel Posted May 9, 2006 at 08:43 AM Author Report Posted May 9, 2006 at 08:43 AM If you don't mind writing part of the vocabulary by hand, you can also use our Chinese-German cards with other languages. You just need to print out the pages where the Chinese (with or without Pinyin) is written: e.g. page 5,7,9, etc) and let the backside of the paper unprinted. Then cut the cards along the cutting lines and write the vocabulary in your language (English, French, Japanese, etc) on the backside by hand. Quote
