Frisco Posted May 1, 2006 at 07:52 AM Report Posted May 1, 2006 at 07:52 AM I apologize if this has already been mentioned somewhere, but I was recently directed to this site and found it to be quite useful. The content is updated twice a day and there are a few other languages to choose from. I know news isn't the most exciting way to study a language, but input is input. If anyone knows of other sites that have audio and matching transcripts, please do share! Quote

Xiao Kui Posted May 1, 2006 at 03:33 PM Report Posted May 1, 2006 at 03:33 PM If anyone knows of other sites that have audio and matching transcripts, please do share! Big selection of regularly updated ones here http://gb.chinabroadcast.cn/chinese_radio/index.htm Just select an article title. The article will come up in a new window and then click on 在线收听. There are articles abt entertainment, culture, minorities, travel, current issues, etc - lots of variety. An exception to this is the news updates at the top. You click on them all together and listen to them together and then there are separate little links to click for the manuscript for each story. Quote
