kudra Posted May 11, 2006 at 04:16 PM Report Posted May 11, 2006 at 04:16 PM I am trying to do the import flashcards command on the file "HSK flashcards.PDB" which resides on my sd card on my Palm TX. Doesn't seem to work. I have Plecodict installed on the internal memory. If I type the name wrong I get a message saying it can't find the file. If I type the name as shown, which I checked with filez, there is no error message, and I get back to the manage flashcards screen. But no new flashcards appear in the manage flashcards screen, nor are there any new cards in the existing lists. I've posted on the plecoforums, but certain parties suggested kindly that I might get some help here. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks. Is the file extention PDB an issue? Does it expect txt when the format is text? I could rename the file with filez if that would help.... Quote
mikelove Posted May 11, 2006 at 06:49 PM Report Posted May 11, 2006 at 06:49 PM For some reason I didn't notice your post on PlecoForums - you need to install that file to your TX's internal memory, NOT to your SD card. Do that, then go to Manage Flashcards, Import, select PalmDoc format and GB-2312 encoding and the list should appear for you to import. Quote
kudra Posted May 12, 2006 at 03:04 AM Author Report Posted May 12, 2006 at 03:04 AM thanks mike, that does it. No need to mess around with filez, or the path, although filez was useful in deleting the HSK Flashcards file from the sd card. Quote
