imron Posted May 22, 2006 at 02:12 PM Report Posted May 22, 2006 at 02:12 PM Just out of curiosity, how well did you do on practise tests (presuming you did them) before the exam? I'm just wondering how accurate a gauge taking practise tests is for doing the real thing. Quote
lau Posted May 22, 2006 at 04:30 PM Report Posted May 22, 2006 at 04:30 PM not acurate at all, at least for advanced one. depends on the year your 模拟考试 book is published, for one thing, and by whom. according to nice people in 北大 publishing company, my listening skills are above 90 sometimes, according to mean people in HSK center, only 73 (in the 模拟考试 they had in my school). had a 30 point 阅读 difference on two timed mock exams i took in one weekend in different schools. the older the book the less you can trust the accuracy of the result you get.
