Brushing Up Your Grammar For HSK - English txt

Hi Folks

Does anyone know if there's copy of:

"Brushing Up Your Grammar For HSK" Intermediate Level, BLCU Press'

which provides grammatical explanations in English? I'm spending more time looking up the explanations than working on the grammatical points themselves.

I used this book:

现代汉语虚词手册 (北京大学出版社）

A Guide to Function Words in Modern Chinese

It has alot of grammatical terms, explanations in English and Chinese, and lots of Chinese examples. I think I picked it up at the Wangfujing bookstore, or at the Language and Culture Uni bookstore. Definitely a useful reference.

I don't know. But you can buy "Conquer HSK Chinese Grammar: 征服HSK汉语语法＂　徐昌火编者，张嫒英译　北京大学出版社．"

That book is pretty good. The English explinations are also fairly easy to understand, unlike some other books.

there is one more HSK practice exam book with english explanations. I cannot find the picture or the name of it online, but it's easy to locate in any bookstore:

it's small ( A5 ) thin, ORANGE, and usually stands together with identical sized books in different colours. it's the same book, but the original chinese version is available in english, korean, japanese and maybe other languages as well.

consists of two tests, has a tape available. cheap. like around 10 kuai orsomething.

i've only seen 2 HSK books in english, have no idea how the other one looked like.
