yusie Posted November 1, 2005 at 04:37 PM Report Posted November 1, 2005 at 04:37 PM Hi, I am a China-born Swedish resident. I want to be able to order books from mainland China, or by all means, from Taiwan or elsewhere. I simply want to be able to have Chinese books! Is Dangdang the best place to get them? Are they reliable for over-seas delivery? Are there any other online-bookshops you could recommend? I can read both simplified and traditional Chinese, and of course I want my books at the cheapest cost. Please give me some advice! Quote
gougou Posted November 2, 2005 at 02:30 AM Report Posted November 2, 2005 at 02:30 AM If you can read Chinese, why not check out dangdang's FAQ? Here it speaks of 海外地区. Quote
Lu Posted November 2, 2005 at 02:03 PM Report Posted November 2, 2005 at 02:03 PM Yes, it delivers in Europe, my friend (in Holland) has just received some Chinese books. Took four weeks by shuilu mail. Quote
perjp Posted June 1, 2006 at 04:38 AM Report Posted June 1, 2006 at 04:38 AM Hi, Does anybody have experience ordering from Dangdang (www.dangdang.com) from outside of China? Are they reliable? I live in Japan. Quote
chinesetools Posted June 1, 2006 at 01:21 PM Report Posted June 1, 2006 at 01:21 PM I've ordered from them twice and both times what I've bought has arrived. I think it is worth springing for the faster shipping though. I live in the United States. Quote
Lu Posted June 1, 2006 at 06:45 PM Report Posted June 1, 2006 at 06:45 PM A friend of mine ordered from Holland, and it arrived without a problem. Actually, there is at least one other thread answering this question... Quote
