Pengyou Posted June 6, 2006 at 08:59 AM Report Posted June 6, 2006 at 08:59 AM I am thinking about studying in a school that can not provide me with a visa. I sent an e-mail to respond to an ad about a company that can get me a visa. They said that they can get me a 1 year F visa for 2,000 rmb assuming I can get an F visa to begin with. Are these kinds of businesses legit? How do they work? Can I do the same thing by going to Hong Kong? My friend in the U.S. has a business - he would be willing to let me be his "agent" for the purpose of getting a visa. Any help on this subject is greatly appreciated. Tom Quote
Xiao Kui Posted June 6, 2006 at 06:08 PM Report Posted June 6, 2006 at 06:08 PM I had some friends who got a valid visa from some agency in Beijing once so it can definitely be done. But why would you want to go to a school like that when there are plenty universities that you can get a 6 month or 1 year student visa for under 500 RMB? ( i think i paid 250 RMB for my 6 month student visa at a university in Kunming.) I'd be more concerned abt the credentials of the school than the legitimacy of buying visas. Quote
