DVD SHOP

Hey everyone,

Been living in beijing now n seem to have collected most of the films found in the smaller dvd shops.

Was wondering if anyone can recommend some good dvd shops they've come across, ive found that the ones near lido are ok, and that some on sanlitun jiuba jie (behind san dian san) are worth a visit. But Im looking for some sort of Mother of All Dvd shop that i can have one big stock up before having to head home.

there's a pretty big DVD and music store opposite the night market in wangfujing - turn WEst at the top of the the pedestrianised section, and it's maybe 50m on the right.

maybe worth trying the video/music sections of the big bookstores (like the ones in wangfujing and xidan)

I've yet to find anywhere with better selections than the shops on Xinjiekou - walk south of Jishuitan subway station. However, having said that I've lived in the area for the last few years and have never bothered going anywhere else to look, so there may be better places.

Not sure if it's the one onebir refers to, but I also came across a reasonably good one just south of the Sanlian bookstore at the north end of Wangfujing (and just east of the art gallery). If you're in that area it might be worth a look.
