no peace for the wicked?

is anyone hot on their 'cheng yu'? i was asked the other day about how to say this in chinese? i can't think if a matching phrase off the top of my head and don't have a 'cheng yu' dictionary. can anyone help? i can only think of 幸灾乐祸 (xing zai le huo), but that's not quite right.

sorry, I can't think of any chengyu related to it right now. But a phrase might seem appropriate for this phrase. In Chinese, there's a term 勞碌命(lao2 lu4 ming4) used to describe people who's always busy handling things....

Example: 他真是個勞碌命, 一刻都不得閒.

幸灾乐祸 is more like Schadenfreude, isn't it?

"no peace for the wicked" is originally a phrase from the Bible found in Isaiah 48:22 and Isaiah 57:21. In both instances it is translated as 恶人必不得平安! in the Union (most commonly used) version of the Chinese Bible.

Unfortunately this is not a chengyu. I like nnt's suggestion, it's kind of like "what goes around comes around"

Just saw this one in the context of literature. Old style novels tend to end with the notion of 善有善报,恶有恶报
