What is "plain flour" in Mandarin?

Hi folks,

Anyone know what "plain flour" is in Mandarin? (ie, as opposed to "self raising flour", "corn flour", etc) I'm looking for something more specific than 面粉.

I've just been in the supermarket comparing packets and finally gave up. It occurred me to ask someone which flour was used to make pancakes, then wrote it off as soon as I thought of it. It's like asking someone which aisle sells the stuff that makes vegemite black.

grateful if anyone can help.

the specific meaning of plain flour in Maradin is 低筋面粉,and in China ,when you call 面粉,that usually means 低筋面粉.There is no difference.

In China ,people normaly use flour(plain flour),we seldom use other kind flour such as self raising flour or corn flour.
