i need to translate a software term LICENCE, LICENSE KEY GENERATOR...

which word should i use ?

what is the difference between 授权码 and 许可码？

!)licece 应该是“许可”，或者“授权”的意思，我们在安装软件时经常可以看到“license agreement”，中文应该译为“许可协议”或者“授权协议”，

in chinese "licence" means "许可"or“授权”,when we install a software programme ,we always should subscribe to a license agreement,here "license agreement" should be translated into “许可协议”or“授权协议”。

2)licence key generator 直译为“授权码生成机”但实际上中国人更习惯表达为“注册机”。因为中国人习惯称licence key 为“注册码”而不太习惯称“授权码”或者“许可码”。

the literal translation for licence key generator is “授权码生成机”,but chinese people prefer calling it "注册机",because chinese is acustomed to translating “licence key”in to “注册码”，but not“授权码”or “许可码”。

3）Basiclly ,there is no difference between "许可码”和“授权码”.

yes,register numer means 注册码，but we also translate icense key into 注册码。

there is no much deferece between between 注册码and 许可码 in chinese
