CarolineXen Posted June 26, 2006 at 02:17 PM Report Posted June 26, 2006 at 02:17 PM Hi, Could someone please clarify the characters for Qi-Gong please (the Chinese Art of Energy)? The character for Gong is always the same, but there seem to be two versions of Qi that are used. The difference being - one has a blank space in bottom left hand corner, and the other has a 6-stroke character rather like a cross with small strokes in each corner. Can someone please clarify which is correct to use & what the meaning is for each version, if possible? Many thanks. Quote

CarolineXen Posted June 26, 2006 at 04:57 PM Author Report Posted June 26, 2006 at 04:57 PM I am using it on a flyer for a friend's workshop on Qi-Gong. Simplified version does look cleaner and sharper, but I do prefer the traditional one....now I know it doesn't matter which, I can play around with both. c Quote
