yonitabonita Posted July 4, 2006 at 09:05 AM Report Posted July 4, 2006 at 09:05 AM Hi, Has anyone out there been to the Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College? Anyone heard anything about it? It says on the site that it caters to people who are overseas Chinese- may be worth exploring for ABC/CBCs that fall through the gaps? thanks, Y Quote
Guest KuifjeenBobbie Posted July 23, 2006 at 09:50 AM Report Posted July 23, 2006 at 09:50 AM But in 1997, so I'm sure a lot has changed. I was pretty satisfied with the course, met some nice people there too. BUT I (like a lot of westerners) found the teaching methods frustrating (unrealistic dialogues, irrelevant vocabulary etc.) Also the fact that we were lazy did not help! Quote
Shadowdh Posted July 23, 2006 at 01:03 PM Report Posted July 23, 2006 at 01:03 PM I am there at the moment.. I like the classes and have two excellent teachers and one thats pretty good but old school... in general I have found the organisation to be pretty good... I cant help with the ABC/BBC thing as I am neither.. Quote
