doumeizhen Posted July 14, 2006 at 12:37 AM Report Posted July 14, 2006 at 12:37 AM When traveling through Tibet in 2002 we stayed overnight at Mount Everest Basecamp and shared a tent with some local people, our guide and our drivers. It was one of the best nights of my life, involving chit-chat, games, and contest. One of the games I managed to pick up in Lhasa, and I swore to myself I would remember how to play it. Of course I didn't. As far as I can remember it was called "dak" it has a round, drum-like base, coins, and little shells, as well as a set of dice. I remember money being tucked under the corners, and I think you...um... Does anyone know what it is and more importantly, would you be willing to freshen my memory on how to use it!? Quote
