I suppose you want to exchange them there, I don't know what country you're in now, but try to avoid paying an exchange fee twice. Unless your country is small and its currency not very popular abroad, maybe you can just bring your own currency. Another way is bringing your bank card, and taking RMB from an ATM when you arrive.
