Kong Junrui Posted July 30, 2006 at 01:32 PM Report Posted July 30, 2006 at 01:32 PM Hey, I was wondering if there have ever been any haiku-style poems in Chinese, as opposed to Japanese. Because I know that the haiku is an originally Japanese poetic form, but I didn't know if it was 'legal' to write one in Chinese, but I think it would seeing as how each character can be represented with one syllable.
