delaSOuL Posted August 6, 2006 at 06:03 PM Report Posted August 6, 2006 at 06:03 PM Is there anybody else here, who is thinking about volunteering in the upcoming Olympics in Beijing? I've been playing with the idea for a while now, but now that the application process is about to begin -sometime in August they say- I'm beginning to put more serious thought onto it. One uncertainty I have, though, is whether or not volunteers must be of Chinese citizenship... I was born in China, but hold a Canadian passport, whilst currently residing in England. They say on their website that they welcome overseas Chinese, who want to volunteer, but does that only include non-Chinese citizens? If anyone has any information about this, or any interesting things to say at all, leave a few words ! Oh, and here is the official Beijing 2008 volunteer webpage (as you can see, they don't update is very regularly ) : http://en.beijing2008.com/83/67/column211716783.shtml Quote
