studentyoung Posted August 12, 2006 at 04:05 AM Report Posted August 12, 2006 at 04:05 AM Jat Lok Gau I have to translate 3 ciniese words, who is stand in connektion to a chiniese Kung Fu System and describe an movement principle. I am not so sure, especially without a context, but the word “Jat Lok Gau” seems like the Cantonese pronunciation. It seems like the Cantonese word “整lok 臼”, which means someone’s cotyle is (kicked, blown or twisted) out. Anyway, good luck! Thanks! Quote
Aweni Posted August 12, 2006 at 07:40 AM Report Posted August 12, 2006 at 07:40 AM hi,Armin, "Jat Lok Gau" it pronounces like cantonese which is a kind of dialect in china. from the pronunciation, it means “整甩臼”,means “disjoint” in english i think. i agree with studentyoung's opinion. hope it helps! Quest Posted August 15, 2006 at 03:29 AM Report Posted August 15, 2006 at 03:29 AM 整甩臼 jing lut gau --- sounds so far off to me.... Unless it's someone familiar with the field, there's no way to know what Jat Lok Gau is.... can you provide mroe context, is it a style, a name, a move? Are you sure it's spelled right? Quote
