Madot Posted August 29, 2006 at 12:48 AM Report Posted August 29, 2006 at 12:48 AM Does anyone know if INTEGRATED CHINESE (Yao, Liu et al) Levels 1 and 2 are freely available in Beijing? I know that because of the authors' perceived Taiwan bias, some of their culture/reading materials are not welcome, but I wonder if I will be able to get hold of the language learning material. If it's not too expensive, it would save me having to lug heavy books in my already over-crowded suitcase. Thanks for any help anyone can give. Mado Quote
aimei Posted August 29, 2006 at 02:45 AM Report Posted August 29, 2006 at 02:45 AM I just arrived in Beijing from the states and I brought my Level one book with me, if you can't find it here you're welcome to borrow it for a while. Let me know if you're interested and I'll give you my contact info. Quote
roddy Posted August 29, 2006 at 06:58 AM Report Posted August 29, 2006 at 06:58 AM Can't recall ever seeing it in the shops, and a quick scout around online doesn't turn anything up, so I'm going to suggest it isn't available here, unless anyone wants to tell me differently . . . Roddy Quote
